Motivating Language Learners to Succeed in EFL Class
The motivation is a
key during the learning process in EFL classes, teachers are not allow to teach
English or any language if they do not understand the relationship in the
middle of motivation and its effects on
the learning process.
The essential of motivation is called
passion, which is about person´s intrinsic and desires goals. Learners who are
successful know very well their preferences, their strengths and weakness and
make a balance between strengths and weakness. Professors are the ones who
discover and apply the way to connect with their passions.
Students need quality instruction, input,
and chances for meaningful production, it is not just for make the process, but
also to retain the motivation for learning. Every teacher must use as much
resources for motivation to connect the learners in an intrinsic and extrinsic
motivation while the learning process. Another fact, there are good students
for just pass the exams and others are really engagement through the learning English
process, however, is relevant that the instructor identify student´s purposes
and needs to develop proper motivational strategies. With all of this, students
will understand why they must make an effort to be engaged during the learning
process.
